Sweeten up you ham steak with this delicious pineapple glaze. I used leftover ham from a large spiral ham I had previously made. Serve with white rice made on the stove top and topped with butter. Round out the meal with a frozen or canned veggie of your choice.

GF Glazed Ham Steak

Slices of spiral ham (or a Ham Steak)
1 can (8 oz) sliced pineapple, with juice reserved
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Bob’s Red Mill GF All Purpose Flour
1 tsp ground mustard
Dash cloves

Lay slices of ham, in a single layer, on the bottom of a 10×13 glass pan. Whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, GF flour, ground mustard, and dash of cloves until completely combined and syrupy. Pour glaze evenly over ham slices. Add pineapple slices on top of ham slices. Bake at 350* until warm about 20 minutes.

I’m Kelli

I built this corner of the internet after celiac entered our house and I realized I had to relearn how to cook from the ground up. Recipes I’d known by heart suddenly betrayed me, and my confidence in the kitchen disappeared overnight. Out of that season of crumbly experiments, small victories, and determination to make food that still felt like home, this site slowly grew. I wanted to share that journey with you so your table can feel normal, maybe even a little faster than mine did.
